Christmas at Tan Hill Inn

The Tan Hill Inn's Christmas experience is back again for 2023!

The event is now on sale at a special early bird price, so book quick!

There is plenty to do; meet and greet with Santa, see and feed real-life reindeer, a visit from Santa’s elves and much more! All at one of the country’s most famous Christmas venues, The Tan Hill Inn.

We are very excited to say that this year we are expanding the experience as we convert our wonderful barn into our very own Christmas Village. The village will feature a host of stalls, games and activities to get you into the Christmas spirit.

Christmas dining

As well as this, we will of course be offering our fantastic Christmas menu which also includes our wonderful Christmas Menu. This is available in the pub and we recommend booking your table now! Please note, our Christmas Menu is separate to the Tan Hill Christmas Experience and you must reserve a table for this separately.

Meeting other groups

If you are meeting other groups we recommend you put the last name of the group in the booking notes and we will do our best to seat groups together. We also recommend booking a table for food 1 hour after your arrival time to your experience. Eg, Santa experience is at 11am, book a table for your group at 12:00pm.

Terms and Conditions:

Transferable subject to availability
In the event of heavy snow and an inability to reach Tan Hill you will be moved to your next available date
Please arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before your chosen sitting
Cancellation policy: no refunds if cancelled within 28 days of your chosen sitting
Refunds at our discretion on a case-by-case basis
Management reserve the right to cancel and/or change sitting times and dates due to unforeseen circumstances.
