Times vote Wild Place to Stay

This 17th-century inn off the Pennine Way may not win design awards, but take a look outside. Britain’s highest pub at 1,732ft is surrounded by miles of pristine moorland. There are seven basic rooms and two bunkrooms, as well as Yorkshire beers and decent pub grub.
